Jesus and the Secular World - A Biblical Response to the Secularization of Society

May 11, 2021 | By Josh Mackey

BRAVE Church, in collaboration with Steiger Denver, is hosting a "Jesus in the Secular World" workshop on Saturday, May 29.

According to Pew Research, the religiously unaffiliated are the fastest growing “religious group” in the USA. Over 40% of millennials and over 45% of Gen Z, now claim to be religiously unaffiliated. Sadly, many in this generation are not looking to the Church for answers because they believe it to be irrelevant to their lives. Many are apathetic, cynical, and even hostile toward the Gospel. These are our friends, family and co-workers.

So what can we do to reach people from a secular mindset? How can we show them the love of Jesus in a language they will understand?

The “Jesus in the Secular World” workshop is designed to teach biblical principles and models for relevantly sharing Jesus and making disciples among young people who would not usually walk into a church. The workshop is taught by leaders of Steiger International, a rapidly-growing, world-wide mission organization that is called to reach and disciple the Global Youth Culture for Jesus
