This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the BRAVE web site through registering for events or through your submission of personal data information to us for the use by the ministry. This information may include name, email, phone number, and address.
We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and will not be intentionally disclosed to outside parties. You may register with our web site if you would like to receive information about our church and its ministries. BRAVE will never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us in ways unrelated to normal function of a church ministry. We do use personal information about people who regularly attend BRAVE and are an active part of the ministry to effectively communicate normal ministry information with them. At no time will BRAVE share your personal information with someone not associated with the ministry for other purposes.

BRAVE is not responsible for the security or privacy practices of these sites, the products or services offered by these sites, or the content appearing at these sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies.. BRAVE recognizes the importance of keeping the information we collect about you confidential. We always take great care to protect what you entrust to us. BRAVE is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to our website.
We do not automatically collect personally identifiable information (PII) about our web site visitors. Our site does not covertly capture information regarding the specific activities of any user. We do not have any arrangements with any other sites to track or monitor user activities on the web. Our site does, however, produce reports that permit us to view your activity on our site in an anonymous or aggregated form. We do not use cookies, web bugs, or any other active content mechanism to capture or maintain information about users without their prior consent. The only personal information that we capture has been specifically submitted to us by a user through the request-for-more-information form. We do not store any persistent information on your computer.
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.

This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the BRAVE app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. When you disclose personal information to us that is where it stays. The only exception involves disclosure to the government according to normal business practices, for instance for the collection of taxes, and as may be required by a normal court of law, for example responding to a subpoena or complying with a search warrant. We do not sell, rent, trade, lend, or otherwise transfer personal information submitted to the website to affiliates, subsidiaries, sister companies, holding companies, parent companies, strategic partners, or any other organization.
Third Party advertising is not permitted on the BRAVE website.

We use a third-party email newsletter service provider for BRAVE subscription based electronic newsletters. Additionally, we use email lists that are comprised of people who have provided their email address to receive church-wide or specific ministry information.
BRAVE does not sell, rent, or share our email lists with any other third parties. We do not link our email lists to any other databases. We do not store emails or individual information on our web server. All personally identifiable information is stored on servers behind our firewall.
We use a third-party SMS text service provider for BRAVE to send SMS messages. If enrolled for SMS messaging, BRAVE may send out SMS text messages for registered event attendees or people that are a part of a specific ministry as reminders or updates for that event or ministry.
• Mobile Device. If you use a mobile device to access the web site or download any of our applications, we may collect device information (such as your mobile device ID, model and manufacturer), operating system, version information and IP address.
• Geo-Location Information. Unless we have received your prior consent, we do not access or track any location-based information from your mobile device at any time while downloading or using our mobile application or our services, except that it may be possible for BRAVE to determine from an IP address the geographic location of your point of connectivity, in which case we may gather and use such general location data.
• Push Notifications. We send you push notifications if you choose to receive them, letting you know when someone has sent you a message or for other service-related matters. If you wish to opt-out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device’s settings.
• Mobile Analytics. We use mobile analytics software to allow us to better understand the functionality of our mobile software on your phone. This software may record information, such as how often you use the application, the events that occur within the application, aggregated usage, performance data and where the application was downloaded from. We do not link the information we store within the analytics software to any Personally-Identifying Information you submit within the mobile application.
The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") protects the online privacy of children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or maintain Personally-Identifying Information from anyone under the age of 13, unless or except as permitted by law. Any person who provides Personally-Identifying Information through the web site represents to us that he or she is 13 years of age or older. If we learn that Personally-Identifying Information has been collected from a user under 13 years of age on or through the web site, then we will take the appropriate steps to cause this information to be deleted. If you are the parent or legal guardian of a child under 13 who has become a member of the web site or has otherwise transferred Personally-Identifying Information to the web site, please contact BRAVE using our contact information below to have that child's account terminated and information deleted.

Our site is protected with a variety of security measures such as change control procedures and passwords. We adhere to industry-standard security practices to safeguard your personal information. We also employ a variety of other mechanisms to ensure that data you provide is not lost, misused, or altered inappropriately. These controls include data confidentiality policies and regular database backups.

We do use encryption methods such as SSL, HTTPS, etc. to protect the information you submit to us for background checks.
We do not store any personally identifiable information on our web server. Accountability Information security personnel ensure the security of the information we process and store.
BRAVE has internal policies and procedures to limit access to your information to only those who have a ministry need to view it.
We may provide you the option to connect your account on the web site to your account on some social networking sites for the purpose of logging in, uploading information or enabling certain features on the web site. When logging in using your social network credentials, we may collect the Personally-Identifying Information you have made publicly available on the social networking site, such as your name, profile picture, cover photo, username, gender, friends network, age range, locale, friend list and any other information you have made public. Once connected, other users may also be able to see information about your social network, such as the size of your network and your friends, including common friends. By connecting your account on the web site to your account on any social networking site, you hereby consent to the continuous release of information about you to us. We will not send any of your account information to the connected social networking site without first disclosing that to you. Each social network may further allow you to set privacy controls around your information on their system, and our collection of information will always follow such controls and permissions. This feature is subject to continuous change and improvement by us, and each social networking site involved, and therefore the available features and shared information are subject to change without notice to you.
We may use hyperlinks on the web site which will redirect you to a social network if you click on the respective link. However, when you click on a social plug-in, such as Facebook’s “Like” button, Twitter’s “tweet” button or the Google+, that particular social network’s plugin will be activated, and your browser will directly connect to that provider’s servers. If you do not use these buttons, none of your data will be sent to the respective social network’s plugin provider. For example, when you click on the Facebook’s “Like” button on the web site, Facebook will receive your IP address, the browser version and screen resolution, and the operating system of the device you have used to access the web site. Settings regarding privacy protection can be found on the websites of these social networks and are not within our control.

BRAVE will always use encryption when collecting personal information via web forms. When you first create a new account in our website system, you will be able to immediately register for events, but you will not have access to any previous registration nor contribution information. Before that can happen, we must manually link your previous information to the account you created. In order to verify the authenticity of the account request, we will ensure that all of your data matches our current records (e.g., address, phone number, and email address). If there is any question, we will contact you via email before creating the link. When you create your account, you will determine your own login id and password. If you forget your login id or password, you can have the system email it to you by entering the email address that you used when you created your account. Please help us keep your information safe by protecting your login information. Access to sensitive personal and financial information can be gained by letting someone else use your account or by leaving the information for someone else to see.
