Real life has been revealed in Jesus Christ. The love that He displayed during His earthly ministry, culminating in His sacrifice on our behalf on the cross, is the cornerstone of a fully satisfied life. God’s word brings light to Christ’s love and shows us His worthiness and sufficiency. As we study the book of 1 John, we see how Christ’s death on our behalf drives our love for others. As redeemed people who stand faultless before His throne, we live differently.
